DON HOKE, MA-TESOL

I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and healing. I approach counseling not as someone who “fixes” others, but as a guide who empowers you to recognize the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back from flourishing. I understand that feeling stuck often stems from a variety of complex and deeply rooted experiences. In our work together, we will explore some of those complex experiences that have shaped your self-perception and life choices.
I enjoy working with children, families, and individuals. I offer a compassionate and attachment-based approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. Whether supporting a child through emotional challenges or helping families navigate conflict, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and connection can take root.
From my background in Emergency Medical Care to my education in intercultural studies, I draw from many rich and diverse life experiences to serve clients. I am currently pursuing a second master's degree from Wheaton College in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I have a strong interest in working from a trauma-focused perspective and play-based therapies for children and families.
